Account Opening

  • Are there any inactivity fees if my trading account is not used?

    If your account has a zero balance and remains inactive for over three months, it will be archived. Unlike other brokers, we do not charge inactivity fees. To resume trading, you will need to complete KYC due diligence, after which your account will be reactivated.

  • Can I open a demo account with Sky Links Capital?
    Yes, we offer demo accounts to all our clients. These accounts can be used by beginners to better understand how online trading works, or by experienced traders to test new strategies without any financial risk.
  • Can I open more than one account with Sky Links Capital?

    Yes. Once you’ve opened a real trading account with our platform, you can apply for up to 10 accounts per platform under the same name, excluding archived and closed accounts. This can allow you to trade different base currencies, or try out new strategies. You can open an additional account in your Client Area here.

  • Do I need to upload my documents again if I open an additional MT5 trading account and my first account was already approved?

    No, we will not require additional documents for opening an additional MT5 trading account.

  • How do I open a live trading account?

    To open a real trading account, click on the 'OPEN AN ACCOUNT' button on the top right of our website. Complete our short application form, access the client portal, upload your documents for verification, and be ready to trade.

  • How long does it take to open an account?

    Our Accounts Opening team might take up to one business day to verify your documents (usually much faster). You can contact our support team to ask for an update or wait for our email confirmation.

  • What account types does Sky Links Capital offer?
    We offer four account types – Basic, Classic, professional and Institutional. You can visit this link to read more.
  • What documents do I need for a corporate account?

    ➣ To open a corporate account, we require the original or certified true copies of the Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum and Articles of Association, and the Legal Entity Identifier (LEI),Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) Structure, where applicable. In addition, valid personal identification and recent proof of residential address (dated within the last three months) must be provided for all beneficial owners holding 25% or more of the company’s shareholding.


    • ➣ Depending on the nature and jurisdiction of the business, we may also request supporting documents such as a Board Resolution authorizing the account opening, a Certificate of Good Standing, a Shareholder Register, and proof of the company’s operating address.

    • ➣ Please note that for high-risk entities or jurisdictions, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) will be conducted. This may include the requirement for additional documentation, such as detailed source of funds and wealth declarations, business plans, audited financial statements, or independent background verification reports.
  • What documents does Sky Links Capital require to open a live account?

    ➣ To verify your personal identity, we require a copy of a valid personal identification document, such as a passport, national ID card, or driver’s license.
    ➣ In certain regions, we may also request a proof of address issued within the last three months, clearly showing your full name and registered address. Acceptable documents include a utility bill (electricity, gas, or water) or a recent bank statement.

  • Why can’t I find my country on the application form?

    Our services are currently available only in select jurisdictions. If you do not see your country listed, it means that, at this time, we are unable to accept clients from your location. We encourage you to stay connected with us through our website and social media channels for updates on the expansion of our global presence and to learn when services may become available in your region.

Financing

  • Can I make internal transfers between my accounts?

    Yes, internal transfers can be made between your trading accounts within the same jurisdiction, through your Client Area.

  • Can I request a withdrawal while I have open trades?

    Yes, you can request a withdrawal while having open trades. However, please note that the withdrawal amount will be subject to the available balance in your account, and it may impact your margin requirements. We recommend ensuring sufficient margin is maintained to avoid potential margin calls or disruptions to your trading positions.

  • Can I withdraw to any bank account?

    You can withdraw to any bank account registered in your name.

  • How can I deposit into my account?
    Our platform offers a variety of payment methods, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and local depositors. You can seamlessly fund your account by login into your client portal.
  • How long does it take to deposit?

    Most deposit methods are processed instantly. However, bank transfers are subject to the processing times of the bank and may take longer to complete.

  • I sent a bank transfer; however, the funds have not yet reached my trading account. What should I do?

    Please note that bank transfers are not instant. Please send a proof of deposit (Swift copy or payment advice for tracking the payment) and your trading account number to our support team at cs@skylinkscapital.com or WhatsApp us at +971507192185, and our team will look into your deposit.

  • My bank transfer withdrawal was approved, but I still have not received my funds, what should I do?

    Bank transfer withdrawals typically take 3-5 working days to process from the moment your request is approved. If you have not received the funds after this period, please contact us here. Additionally, ensure you check for any emails from our platform requesting further information, as delays in responding may result in a delay in receiving the funds.

  • What is the minimum account required to open an account

    The minimum amount required to open an account is $50.

  • When will my withdrawal reflect on my account?

    We process the withdrawals within 24 hours and depending on your bank it may take 3-5 working days to reflect the money on your account.

  • Can I trade micro lots?

    Yes, the minimum lot size you can start trading with is 0.01.

  • Do you allow automated/EA trading?

    Yes.

  • Do you allow scalping/hedging?

    Yes, we allow scalping and hedging.

  • Do you offer a Swap free account?

    Absolutely! We offer a swap-free (also known as Islamic account) account designed to meet the needs of traders seeking interest-free trading conditions.

  • How are margin call stop out levels are calculated?

    The stop-out and margin call levels are configured at the jurisdictional level. For more details, please refer to our Terms of Business (Client Service Agreement) here.

  • How do I download a trading statement on MT5?

    Log into your MT5 account.

    • ➣ Click on the ‘History’ tab at the bottom.
    • ➣ Right-click inside the History window.
    • ➣ Select ‘Save as Report’.
    • ➣ Choose where to save the file on your device.
  • How do I enable Push Notifications on MT5?

    Open your MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform.

    1. ➣ Click on ‘Tools’ in the top menu and select ‘Options’ from the dropdown.
    2. ➣ In the Options window, go to the ‘Notifications’ tab.
    3. ➣ Tick the box for ‘Enable Push Notifications’.
    4. ➣ Enter your MetaQuotes ID (found in the MT5 mobile app under Settings → Messages).
    5. ➣ Optionally, you can test the connection by clicking ‘Test’.
    6. ➣ Click ‘OK’ to save your settings.

  • How do I place a trade on MT5?

    Log into your MetaTrader 5 (MT5) trading account.

    • ➣ Open the Market Watch window and select the instrument you wish to trade.
    • ➣ Right-click on the instrument and choose ‘New Order’.
    • ➣ In the order window:
      • ▪️Set your trade volume (lot size).
      • ▪️Optionally, add Stop Loss and Take Profit levels.
      • ▪️Choose your order type — either Market Execution (for immediate execution) or Pending Order (to trigger at a future price).
    • ➣ Once your trade settings are finalized, click ‘Buy’ or ‘Sell’ to place the trade.
    • ➣ Your open positions will be visible under the Trade tab at the bottom of the platform.
  • How do I start trading on MT5?

    To access MetaTrader 5 (MT5) with Sky Links Capital, you’ll first need to open a trading account with us. You can then download the MT5 platform on your desktop, mobile device, or access it directly via your web browser. Download links are easily available under the 'Platforms' section within the Sky Links Capital Portal. Once your account is set up, we’ll send you your secure MT5 login credentials by email and provide step-by-step guidance to help you get started.

  • How is Futures rollover calculated?

    Futures do not rollover each night, they expire. At the expiration we roll the open positions to the next contract on behalf of the clients. The calculation simulates the process of closing the old contract and opening the new contract. Therefore, according to the spread of the old contract and the new contract, the cash adjustment values in the two directions of buy and sell are calculated.

  • How is SWAP calculated?

    There are several SWAP calculation modes. You can see the mode for each symbol on the market watch/specifications.
    ➣ By points, SWAPs are charged in points in the volume specified below for short and long positions.
    ➣  By money, in calculation currency.
    ➣ By interest, as annual interest rate.
    ➣ By money, in currency of margin calculation.

  • What are your spreads?

  • What is Swap/rollover/financing fees?

    SWAP charges are the overnight finance charges that apply when you hold a position overnight. You can view them in the Product Specifications of each instrument on the trading platform.

  • What is your margin call/stop levels?

    The margin call will occur if the equity on your account falls to 100% of the margin required. The stop out is set at 50% of the equity.

  • What leverage do you offer?
    Our platform offers up to 1:400 leverage to trade with. You can find the full list of leverages our platform offers here.
  • What time do I get charged SWAP?

    Accounts are charged right after midnight in the open order(s).

  • What are bid and ask prices?

    Bid is the price a buyer is willing to pay for an asset. Ask is the price a seller is willing to sell an asset for.

  • What are Spreads?

    Spreads refer to the difference between the bid price (buy) and the ask price (sell) of a trading instrument. It represents the broker’s fee for executing the trade and can be fixed or variable depending on market conditions.

  • What is a “stop-loss” order and why should I use it?

    A stop-loss order is a risk management tool that automatically closes a trade at a predetermined price to limit potential losses. Using stop-loss orders helps protect your capital and ensures you stick to your trading strategy without letting emotions take over.

  • What is a CFD?

    A CFD, or Contract for Difference, is a financial instrument that allows you to speculate on the price movement of assets without owning the underlying asset. You can profit from both rising and falling markets by buying (going long) or selling (going short) CFDs.

  • What is a margin call?

    A margin call occurs when your account equity falls below the required margin level needed to maintain open positions. When this happens, your broker may request that you deposit more funds or close some positions to reduce risk.

  • What is a Pip?

    A pip (percentage in point) is the smallest price movement in the Forex market. It usually represents a movement of 0.0001 in currency pairs priced to four decimal places.

  • What is Forex?

    Forex, or foreign exchange, is the global marketplace for trading national currencies against one another. It is the largest and most liquid financial market in the world, operating 24 hours a day, five days a week.

  • What is leverage and how do I use it?

    Leverage allows you to control a larger position with a smaller amount of capital. For example, a 1:100 leverage means you can control $100,000 worth of assets with just $1,000. While leverage can amplify profits, it also increases potential losses, so it should be used carefully.
